HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!! IM 21!
I am on the the same time zone as SOUTH AFRICA in France and spending my Birthday in Poitier, Poitou, France.
Camille Buma, a friend from BYU is here too. We took the Bus to Church this morning and had fast and testimony in French ;) and we talked with the missionaries and some of hte members in English and our broken french :)
Then we had a great lunch at a Brasserie and took some fun pictures of me "enjoying the freedom of 21"! (mmm what could that be.... hee hee - pictures to come soon, but Im at an internet cafe now and in France for another 2 weeks so keep checking - all very innocent I promise :)
This is the 3rd birthday I have not been at home and even then my 18th was spent flying over Africa! Its a weird thought. I probably wont be at home for the next few birthdays too, depending on if I go on a mission or not.
Life is good, this trip has been a great experince, difficult and demanding, but really rewarding and I have learned alot. We will have to see what the future holds... this is only the beginning :)
